
Dr. Alessandra Ainsworth
Dr. Alessandra Ainsworth is an assistant professor in obstetrics and gynecology, specializing in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed both her residency in obstetrics and gynecology and her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Mayo Clinic. During her fellowship, Dr. Ainsworth obtained a master’s degree in biomedical science. Her clinical interests include infertility, fertility preservation, premature ovarian insufficiency, recurrent pregnancy loss, assisted reproductive technology, and in vitro fertilization. Dr. Ainsworth is also active in clinical research and education and works with medical students, residents, and fellows. She is passionate about understanding the long-term health outcomes after infertility and pursuing novel approaches to fertility care that aim to improve the patient experience and access to care.
