At Flo, we see a better future for female health, a future in which every woman and girl has the power to understand — and advocate for — her body.
That’s why we launched the Pass It On Project, a giveback program that provides free Flo Premium2 to women living in countries with little access to safe and trustworthy health information.

Why are we gifting Flo Premium subscriptions for free?
When women aren’t taught about their bodies, their health and well-being suffer. UNICEF’s 2023 Menstrual Health report3 states that female health education is as important to increasing women’s well-being as access to period products and good health care. That’s where Flo’s Pass It On Project can make a real difference.
In countries where health education is limited, a free Flo Premium subscription provides women with vital access to safe and credible health information — from their first period to their last, including when they’re trying to conceive, pregnant, or perimenopausal.
And it’s working. Women who have started using free Flo Premium have a better understanding of periods and menstrual health than they did previously.4 With your help, we can keep passing on health literacy to even more women — one free subscription at a time.
What have we achieved with Pass It On so far?
Today, 17m women across 66 countries have free access to Flo Premium. We’re measuring the impact across a range of areas. In just three months, preliminary results from an ongoing study show women using free Flo Premium reported that their:
Understanding of female health is 25% higher.4
Awareness of periods and menstrual health is 10% higher.4
Feelings of stigma and shame around periods are 11% lower.4
What’s next for Flo’s Pass It On Project?
Our ambition is to reach as many women as possible, and there’s still a long way to go. As more women get to know their bodies better, they’re empowered to pass on that knowledge to someone else.
Support Pass It On and help kick-start a better future for women and girls everywhere.
