Work Experience:10+ years in online media and editing
Emerald Catron obtained a BA from Bennington College in Bennington, VT. Since then, her writing has been published on properties owned by AOL, MSN, Huffington Post, and Townsquare Media, among others. Throughout her career, her work has focused on women’s lifestyle and science, and she has an acute interest in female reproductive health, wellness, and social justice.
Outside of work, she has a certificate in grant writing from DePaul University and is an active organizer who has worked on several successful political and issue-based campaigns. She is also a founding board member of Humanity House Foundation, a non-profit focused on alleviating poverty.
