Your privacy in post-Roe America: How Flo keeps your data safe
In light of Roe v. Wade being overturned in the United States, some of you expressed concern about third parties accessing what you log in the Flo app.
We hear and understand your concerns, and we want to make it clear that we will do everything in our power to protect your privacy and data. This includes:
Giving you complete control of what you share with us. We will never ask you to log pregnancy loss or any other information that you feel should be kept private. Anything you do log in the Flo app can be deleted at any time. Our help center has all the information you need to manage your account.
Using leading security technology as standard, including encryption to prevent the loss or theft of your data.
Putting your privacy first. Flo works with world-renowned data protection experts to keep our members safe, and it’s helping us lead the way. We’re the only female health app to hold dual ISO certifications in privacy and security — the worldwide gold standard. You can meet our privacy and security team here.
Allowing you to add an extra layer of data protection. Flo’s Anonymous Mode lets you use the app without anything you share being traced back to you. Find out more about how Anonymous Mode works here.
Never selling your personal information. Our only source of revenue is the money you pay for your subscription.
Our number one priority will always be you, our members. We will never stop standing up for your right to share — and access — information about your body in the safest, most secure way possible.

VP of privacy and data protection officer
