Flo's Response to Roe v. Wade

    Published 24 June 2022

In the wake of the recent United States Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, we want to reiterate Flo’s stance on abortion rights, and what actions we are taking as a company to ensure the privacy of our users’ data.

We will do everything in our power to protect the data and privacy of our users. We have comprehensive security measures in place and will never sell your personal data. We understand the deep responsibility we have to provide a safe and secure platform for you to use and want to remind you that you may delete your data at any time.

To add to our comprehensive security measures already in place, Flo will soon be launching a new feature: “Anonymous Mode” – an option that allows users to remove their personal identity from their Flo account. Look out for more information about the update in the coming weeks.

Flo will always stand up for the health of women. And to us, this means taking a pro-health stance as it relates to reproductive health which aligns with the World Health Organization (WHO): Being able to obtain a safe abortion is a crucial part of healthcare.

Together, we will continue to work to build a better and safer future for women’s health.
